Legislators file Gambling Industry’s Bill to Authorize Full Scale Casinos Across Florida:  Have you called or e-mailed your legislator yet?

Representative Erik Fresen (R-Miami Dade) and Senator Ellyn Bogdanoff (R-Fort Lauderdale) filed legislation last week on behalf of casino operators to authorize Las Vegas styled destination casinos in Florida.  If passed, their bills would allow casino operators to build three large “destination resorts” which would include some of the largest casinos in the world.

The time to act is now. Please call your senator and representative and tell them that you are against any expansion of
gambling in Florida and are opposed to House Bill 487 and Senate Bill 710. Proponents of gambling have employed an army of professional lobbyists to advocate for this bill.  The only thing more powerful and compelling than the filthy money being
handed out by the gaming industry is YOUR VOICE telling your State Representative and State Senator that you do not want to see Florida become another Las Vegas or Atlantic City.

We need your help to kill these bills and keep casino expansion out of Florida.  Please call your elected officials today and help us keep casinos out of Florida.
