Please join members of Florida’s pro-life coalition in Tallahassee this Tuesday afternoon, November 12, at 10:30AM-12:00 Noon ET in the Pat Thomas Committee Room, 412 Knott Building to testify in favor SB 404, Parental Consent Before Abortion. Senator Kelli Stargel (R) of Lakeland is the prime sponsor of this bill.
There are only 90 minutes allotted to this topic and we need you to come out and speak in favor (3 minutes per speaker, which is commonly narrowed to 1 minute if there is a large group present).
You can also simply sit in the audience and WEAR BLUE to show your support or stand and just waive in support instead of speaking. This is the bill’s first committee and it is assigned to three committees in the Senate. After the Health Policy Committee, the bill goes to the Judiciary and Rules Committees.

Thanks to your support this same bill passed the only House Committee it was assigned only to a couple of weeks ago and now will move to the full House floor for a vote by the entire Florida House of Representatives where it passed last year successfully. The greater challenge will be to pass this bill out of the Florida Senate but we are very hopeful this will happen this year because of the Senate President’s support.
